Barentz Welcomes Rick Richard to the Human Nutrition Team

Barentz, a leading global distributor of life science ingredients, is excited to welcome Rick Richard to our Human Nutrition team as Vice President, Principal Management.
Rick brings to Barentz more than four decades of extensive leadership experience by managing and motivating technical sales teams and driving new business growth across the food industry. With his former executive positions at Flavor Producers, Ajinomoto, and Univar, Rick has cultivated and developed strong strategic supplier relationships as well as skills to improve productivity and the customer experience.
Rick graduated with a B.S. in Food Science from the California Polytechnic State University, and attended the Master Brewers Program in Brewing Science and Brewery Engineering at the University of California. He is a Professional Member of the Institute of Food Technologies, a National Board Member of the American Association of Candy Technologists, and an Eagle Scout.
